Infection control has always been a top priority, for our practice. We have always had, UV lights to sterilize the air that passes through our AC units, as well as filters and UV on our incoming water lines. But with pandemic came more changes: we have recently installed additional air purification filters on the AC ducts, as well as the use of high-volume suction units during certain procedures. You will see more N95 masks, gowns, face shields and safety glasses than you did before. When you visit you will find new pre visit protocols, such as temperature checks, and pre rinsing. We have removed magazines from our waiting room and spaced out chairs to encourage social distancing. We also are spacing out appointments to avoid waiting and crowding in the office.
